Hrithik Roshan Is Very Special To Barbara Mori?
Guarded but ever-effevescent she says, “I’ve another film in India to be shot in January I think. I can’t talk about it right now. I will when all the details are worked out. I can’t tell you the details. But it’s a big film. I’d love to do many films in India.”
Barbara’s English in her words, “is not the best, but not so bad either.”
Barbara loves Mumbai. “Not just Mumbai, I love all the Indian people. They’re so lovely so warm. They make me feel so much at home. In Bollywood Sussanne wanted me to meet every friend of hers. So she took me a lot of places.
We went partying all night at Shah Rukh Khan’s home. I met many actors and actresses but I can’t remember their names. They are all so warm.”
She wants to visit more of India. “I want to visit Delhi and the Taj Mahal. I haven’t had time to do so. So far I’ve been to India only for work. Now I need to come back for a vacation. Then I’ll visit all the places I want to.”
She finds Mexican and Indian culture very similar yet different. “My brother has been living in India for the last 1 ½ years. He’s a singer and he has put together an album in Mumbai. Me? I sing too. But not professionally.”
About Kites she says, “I’m not nervous I am not scared. I’m just excited. Kites is my first film for this part of the world. I had never watched Bollywood films before Kites. But after I realized I’d be part of Kites I enjoyed some. I really loved Hrithik’s film Lakshya”.
She brightens up at the mention of Hrithik. “I feel there’s a very special chemistry with him. I’ve done a lot of movies with many other actors. But nothing like Hrithik. 
“I love the place. In fact we shot a sequence of Kites in the Maldives. But no, contrary to what people believe I don’t enjoy being in the water.”
She enjoys acting the most. “I’ve a production company in Mexico. I’ve just produced a film starring me.I’m now putting up a restaurant in Mexico.”
She plans to do a film with Hrithik in Mexico. “Oh yes! I’d love to have him in Mexico for a film produced by me. He’s a great actor and beautiful humanbeing and one good friend.”
As for the rumours about their link-up Barbara is not bothered. “Oh the media in Mexico is as active. Every time I do a movie they link me with my co-star. So I’m used to it…Kites is such an honest love story every one who watches it would watch to fall in love. That’s the best feeling in the world.”
Katrina Kaif Will Not Roman With Hrithik! What About Barbara Mori?
Not happy with film title -- Zindagi Na Mile Dobara -- actress recommends finding a new titleZoya Akhtar's film starring Hrithik Roshan, Farhan Akhtar and Abhay Deol along with Katrina Kaif and Kalki Koechlin was initially titled Running with the Bulls.
The name of this road trip film was later changed to Zindagi Milegi Na Dubara, as the general consensus was that an English title might not go down well with the desi audience. In a new development even the Hindi title has been dropped now.
The shooting of this film begins in Spain next month, and the hunt for a brand new title.

A source reveals that Katrina had reservations about the title Zindagi Milegi Na Dubara, "She thought it sounded very dated, and didn't suit a film about coming of age. She suggested they opt for something current rather than an old title."
The producers need to come up with a name for the film soon. Ritesh Sidhwani confirms, "We haven't decided on a title yet." However, he denies that Kat suggested the change, "That's not true at all."
Apart from hunting for a title, the crew is also looking for a lead opposite Hrithik. Contrary to speculation, Katrina is paired opposite Farhan and not Hrithik. They are still looking to cast some one opposite Hrithik. Will it be Barbara who will pair once again with her Kites hero?

Barbara Mori Is Topless In English Version of Kites Movie
The Remix is out. Yes, that's what they're calling the Brett Ratner presentation of Kites in the US. The trailer for The Remix has been well recieved in the US by industry watchers. There are marked differences between the Hindi trailer and the international one. While the desi version features fleeting flirty scenes between the two, the English teaser actually shows a topless Barbara and a passionate liplock between the lead pair, something that's missing in the Indian promo.
The Hindi trailer is comparatively tame, perhaps made to suit the local sensibilities.
While Kites releases worldwide on May 21, The Remix, a re-edited version of the 130 minute original, releases on May 28. It is only 90 minutes long and has been reworked by Ratner to be faster, younger and hipper.
About Ratner's cut, one Hollywood trade analyst had this to say: "Ratner's reputation couldn't be anything further from the Bollywood norm. He's known for movies full of fast cars, fast women, and big explosions. Subtlety isn't his thing. Kites hits theaters thanks to Brett Ratner. "
Says Rakesh Roshan, "The promos for both the international and Indian audiences are same and the kiss is in both. As far as the topless scene (of Barbara Mori) is concerned, it's not true. I don't make such films. For the Hollywood version, they wanted only 90 minutes so we removed all the five songs that are there in the Indian version of Kites. "

Barbara Mori Wanted To Have Romance With Shahrukh Khan
The lady is in town to promote Kites and is at present put up at the Oakwood apartment in Juhu.
SRK threw a surprise bash for her at his palatial abode Mannat. Barbara also met up with inner circle comprising of Arjun Rampal, Mehr Jessia, Chunky and Bhavna Pandey, Sanjay and Maheep Kapoor and Neelam Kothari! They all enjoyed the IPL finale together.
The lady was floored by the Bollywood badshah and his wife Gauri's hospitality. A source told us that she is now keen to work with Shah Rukh.
She reportedly stated that though she hasn't seen any of his films, she would love to star opposite him. That's top on her wish list! Barbara is eager to work with another superstar after Hrithik.
It's evident that the Mexican stunner is here to stay!
Barbara Mori Can't Show Nudity In India
Mexican beauty Barbara Mori, who makes her Bollywood debut with "Kites", says she finds the melodrama and song- dance sequences of Hindi films "funny yet fascinating".She is also amazed at the brouhaha kissing scenes generate in India.
"I knew nothing about Bollywood when 'Kites' came to me. Rakesh Roshan (producer) and Anurag Basu (director) narrated the script to me and the only thing I felt was that this was such a different film, " Barbara, who will be seen as Hrithik Roshan's love interest in "Kites", told in an exclusive interview.
"Then I saw some Bollywood films and realised there's a lot more dancing and singing than we have in Mexico. I found it funny in the beginning.
"There was a scene where Hrithik is supposed to have blood on his body, then there were these singing and dancing sequences - it was a little funny, yet I was quite fascinated. Now I look forward to more Bollywood movies, " she added.
The 32-year-old is on her third visit to India ever since her association with "Kites", to be released by Reliance BIG Pictures May 21.
Another aspect of Bollywood that amazes Barbara is the brouhaha over kissing and lovemaking scenes.
"I respect what culture is followed in each country just as I respect the culture in my own place. The culture in Indian films is different. There I can show nudity, at least partly if not fully. And kissing is not a big deal. But here somehow it's a big thing. That was quite amazing.
"In fact, before beginning to shoot 'Kites', I told Hrithik, 'We're kissing many times in the script, won't it be a problem in your country?' He said 'Yeah, but things are more open now'.
"I have heard Anurag Basu has made some really good bold movies and I feel kissing must be okay now in Bollywood, " said Barbara who is totally kicked about the release of "Kites" next month.
"This is a very different movie, the first biggest movie I have done, my first English movie and the first action movie for me… I never imagined shooting in Bollywood...it has been so exciting.
"I really love the story. From the beginning, when I met Anurag Basu and Rakesh Roshan in Los Angeles, I felt really touched to see such a different love story - that of a Mexican and Indian falling in love without any language barrier, " she said.
Unlike most other foreign actors who are expected to deliver dialogues in Hindi, Barbara was lucky as her character had to speak in Spanish and English only.
But she was petrified of doing underwater scenes. "Underwater scenes we shot in the Maldives. They were very complicated and tough.
Water, sea… I don't like! Still we had to put oxygen masks, go underwater and act. For me, that was a big thing. It was difficult, but I sailed through…, " she said.She says Hrithik gave immense support throughout the shooting.
"Hrithik has been a superb co-star. He is a great actor and has delivered some very good performances. I have seen some of his movies.
I don't remember their names but I really liked some. I specifically liked the one in which he plays a soldier… what's that called? Ummmm….'Lak'…' Lakshya', " said Barbara.
She also said that Hrithik taught her Hindi. "I taught a bit of Spanish to Hrithik and he taught me some Hindi…but all the bad words!"
Barbara will be returning to Mexico Saturday and says she definitely wants to come back in time for the film's release.
Barbara Mori Is Ready To Face Trial Of Her Friendship With Hrithik?
Barbara Mori who quietly arrived in Mumbai on Monday morning left on Tuesday morning with Hrithik Roshan to shoot an ad campaign for Provogue.The Roshans wish to keep her visit to a city that the Mexican actress now knows so well, as low-key as possible until she returns from the Maldives on 22 April for a series of press interactions in Mumbai.
Hrithik wrapped up the final few days of his shooting with Sanjay Leela Bhansali for Guzaarish before Barbara's arrival. Both Hrithik and his wife Sussanne gladly played Barbara's host on her arrival on Monday.
Speaking on her current visit to India Rakesh Roshan said, “We don't want to create any unnecessary hype about her presence.
But we do want to make it clear that we didn't sign Barbara for Kites because we needed any Caucasian girl. Barbara is not just a pretty girl. She is an amazing actress. You have to see her in Cosas Insignificantes where she had shaved off her hair.She is an outstanding dramatic actress.”
Barbarba spent Monday in Mumbai with the Roshans and left early on Tuesday morning for the Maldives, prepared to return to Mumbai to a barrage of questions on her friendship with Hrithik which, apparently she is ready to tackle.
She leaves Mumbai on 2 May and will join Hrithik for the US premieres of Kites in the US.
Hrithik Roshan Slaped To HOT Barbara Mori
Kites couple Hrithik Roshan and Barabra Mori are in news once again thanks to the smack on the latter's cheek. No, don't get us wrong, Hrithik didn't misbehave with the latin beauty but it was all a part of a scene.
Talking to a news daily about the Hrithik-Barbara chemistry, Anurag recalled a humorous event, “We were doing an intense scene which had a long dialogue. Towards the end, Barbara was supposed to slap Hrithik. We okayed the scene.
But Barbara asked me if it was possible to do a retake, because she wanted to slap Hrithik again. It was a prank, but I decided to play along. Duggu was very surprised when I told him we’d do the scene again because I’d already told him the earlier take was fine.”
Hrithik somehow got the whiff of it and towards the end of the shot he turned around and slapped Barbara.
“Barbara was shocked because just as she was about to slap him, Duggu ducked and slapped her instead. Then she realised that Hrithik had seen through her prank and everyone on the sets burst out laughing,” added Anurag with a laughter.
