Ability Match Between Esha Deol & Ahana Deol...

Will Ahana Deol be able to do what Esha couldn`t?It has finally happened! Deol family's youngest daughter Ahana Deol is finally set to make her Bollywood debut. As per the reports, Dharmendra and Hema Malin's youngest daughter Ahana is going to follow the path set by her elder sister Esha Deol.

Ahana, who is a trained Bharatanatyam dancer, is reportedly reading a script of filmmaker Vikramaditya Motwane. Ahana is said to be very close to Motwane and his wife.

Earlier in 2007, there was a report that Ahana will be directing a film but it never happened. She was also offered to act in a film by Dev Anand. Apart from this, she was also approached by other filmmakers to act in their films but Ahana rejected them and everyone considered her to be a shy girl for Bollywood.

Now, after so many years, there are again talks of the lady entering Bollywood and this time, things are going in the right direction from the beginning as she is seriously giving a thought on this. On choosing Ahana, Motwane says that she has an interesting face.

Esha could not do much well in the industry, so the pressure on Ahana will be much more considering her family records. Starting from her parents to step brothers Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol to cousin Abhay Deol, all of them have made their niche in the industry. Now, Ahana will have to prove herself as an actress like her mom.

The film is likely to be produced by Anurag Kashyap and it will be possibly a multi-starrer. All the best to Ahana on her Bollywood journey, hope she does not disappoint her family and the filmmaker!

Hema Malini Is Traveling For Cattle Class To Bihar?

It’s been a hectic time for Hema Malini. She has been producing a film for her daughter Esha under impossible weather conditions and back-breaking schedules in different parts of the world. Last week she had to rush with her cast and crew to Goa to shoot the carnival there.

Said Hema, “Goa shoot was not supposed to happen now but we needed to shoot the carnival which was held from February 13-16. So we preponed the schedule that was to happen later in the year and rushed to Goa last week. Now we’ll have to go back to Goa later.”

On Saturday Hema had to travel from Goa to Patna for a dance recital which she had committed to perform before the unscheduled Goa trip. However she hadn’t bargained for being put in what Shashi Tharoor so picturesquely described as the ‘cattle class’.

Giggles the danseuse-actress, “There was no business class in the flight to Patna. I had to sit in economy. I didn’t mind at all. But the people around me seemed to be very distracted. I felt concerned for them.”

Hema had around 300 pair of eyes gazing at her. “I don’t know why they needed to stare. You say because I’m beautiful? No. I never believed I was. My mother always taught me to stay grounded. I never started believing I was someone special.”

Esha Deol Have Best Calves To Display

Esha Deol, in her own words, is bruised black and blue. This month after participating in a camel race in Jaisalmer and doing road stunts in Goa for her mother's production Tell Me Oh Khuda, Esha can barely move a limb.

“The director Mayur Puri and the fight master Parvez Bhai forgot I was all said and done, a girl and therefore delicate in my own way. This has been the most physically demanding experience of my life, ” says Esha wincing in pain.

Twenty-six years after Hema Malini got on a camel in the Rajasthan deserts to sing the haunting Ae dil-e-nadaan in Kamal Amrohi's Razia Sultan, Esha rode the camel like a pro in Jaisalmer.

Protests Esha, “In Razia Sultan Mom was singing on the camel. I was wincing in pain. For ten days I rode the camel like a professional for a camel race along with Arjan Bajwa, Chandan Roy Sanyal and Sudhandhu Pande.

I was the only girl in the team. But people seemed to forget that. But if I may say so, I had the best calves on display in the typical Rajasthani camel-rider's costume, the kurta lungi and all.”

For the first few days Esha was in a daze. “The seat on top of the camel is so rough and so unfriendly to comfortable riding, my knees and inner thighs were constantly bruised.

When my mother saw I was hurt she was livid. But I told her to chill. And we continued shooting on the camels for a good week after that. Now I can call myself an expert camel rider.”

Esha's training in kick-boxing held her in good stead. “For the last two years I've subconsciously been training for this film. I needed to get physically fit. Which I've done. And I needed to mature emotionally. That too, I think, I've achieved.”

Esha says shooting Tell Me Oh Khuda has been like shooting three different films.

“We shoot in three different continents with three different cinematographers. So it's like doing three different films. In Turkey I shot with Rishi Kapoorji and in Jaisalmer I'm shooting with Vinod Khannaji.”

Now Esha wants to bring her father Dharmendra and mom Hema together for the last segment of the film.

“It's a dream for me to have them in the same film as me, so that one day I can tell my grandchildren, 'I made this happen.'. And I will make it happen.”
